Five questions to ask your business data, and how AI answers them

Most owners do not want a dashboard. They want an answer. Here are five questions worth asking your data every week, and what a useful reply contains.

“What did we spend last month, and on what?”

A good answer gives the total, the biggest category and a comparison to the month before, then offers to break it down further.

“Which items will run out soon?”

The answer should list items below reorder level with how fast they sell, so you can decide what to order first.

“Who is late or absent today?”

Pulled from attendance records, ready before you walk into the shop.

“Which leads have not been followed up?”

A list of open leads with the date of last contact. The AI can draft the follow-up message for you to approve.

“What is our profit this month so far?”

Sales minus cost and expenses to date, with a clear note on anything still unposted.

The key is that the assistant reads your live records, and shows you where a number came from, so you can trust it and check it.
